7 o'clock option: the service that arrives quickly
7 o'clock option allows the beneficiary abroad to collect the money from 7 a.m. on the working day after the day the request is made. The service is active towards Romania, Philippines, Moldova, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Bulgaria and Poland.
2-hour option
The 2- hour option allows the beneficiary abroad to collect the money after 2 hours calculated from the moment the transfer is accepted. The service is active towards Romania.
How to send it
Find a post office
Bring with you a valid identity document and your tax ID code. For your convenience, you can also download International Money Transfer Form (PDF) online and fill it out at home.
If you want to save time at the counter, pre-fill in the required data in the Poste Italiane App and present the QR Code you have obtained to the operator. On poste.it or on Poste Italiane App you can also book your appointment at the post office.

Bring with you an identity document and your tax code. For your convenience, you can also download the Payment or refund Form (PDF) online and fill it out from home. If you want to save time at the counter, book on poste.it or on Poste Italiane App.

In addition to the advantage of security and convenience, you can send the recipient a free message of 10 words (maximum 80 characters) that will be communicated to him/her in the country of receipt when the amount sent is paid.
To collect the amounts relating to MoneyGram funds transfers to Nigeria and the United Kingdom, the sender must always provide the beneficiary with the "Reference Code" of the operation, printed on the receipt issued by Poste Italiane in response to the request for the money transfer.
Please do not use the MoneyGram service for: purchasing vehicles, collecting wins/lottery winnings, prize contests, promises of money from third parties, purchasing on the Internet. To prevent you from being a victim of fraud, please do not send money to strangers and share your 8-digit transaction reference number exclusively with the beneficiary of the transaction.
If any of the above occurs and you wish to block money from being sent, cancel the transaction immediately.

Particularly favourable prices are available for some countries.
You can apply for a refund, from the day following the completion of the sending transaction and at any post office authorised to provide the service. If the refund request is submitted within 5 working days from the date on which the sending transaction was made – provided that the amount has not already been collected by the beneficiary – both the amount transferred and the commission paid will be returned to the sender. If the refund request is submitted after 5 days, only the amount sent will be returned to the sender. For the refund you need to fill in the Payment or refund form.
With MoneyGram, in addition to transferring money abroad, you can also receive in Italy the amounts sent from abroad, at the authorised post offices.
