Description

WORLDWIDE SERVICE

  • With Poste Delivery Globe you can send goods, items and documents to around 175 different countries. Check whether your post office offers this shipment service.
 

SIMPLY EXPRESS

  • To send a shipment, just fill out the Waybill available at the counters and attach the correct customs documentation.
  • You can also fill it out online and request home pick-up or drop off the parcel at the post office.
 

ONLINE ASSISTANCE

  • You can access online customs assistance and information on the documentation required for your shipment.
 

JUST IN CASE

  • In case of failed delivery, the parcel is held as undelivered at the foreign destination post office.

How to send

PREPARE YOUR PARCEL

Sending with Poste Delivery Globe is easy: just prepare your parcel and weigh it; it must not weigh more than 30 kg. Do you have doubts about how to prepare the shipment? Consult the International Shipments Guide - Poste Delivery Globe.

SEND FROM THE POST OFFICE

If you prefer traditional methods, fill out the Waybill available at all post-office counters. Find your nearest post office .

SEND ONLINE

If you prefer the technological approach, you can fill it out online with Poste Delivery Web and send the parcel directly from home or drop it off at the post office.

CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR SHIPMENT

Monitor your shipment with the Tracking service, entering the code on your receipt under the barcode. For other ways to monitor your shipment, please visit the Find Out More section.

  • max. dimensions: the longest side must not measure more than 150 cm (length), and the sum of the three sides must not be greater than 225 cm.
  • min. dimensions: no less than 20 x 11x 0.5 cm
  • if the parcel has a cylindrical shape, the sum of the length plus twice the diameter must not be less than 17 cm and the largest dimension must not be less than 10 cm
  • the maximum weight is 30 kg
  • parcels exceeding the maximum limits for weight or dimensions will not be accepted
  • please note that the limits on dimensions and weight may vary according to the regulations of the destination country

Weekends and bank holidays are not considered when counting delivery times. For the delivery time to be observed, it is necessary for the shipment to be accepted before the cut-off for acceptance indicated by post offices.

With Poste Delivery Globe you can send parcels up to 30 kg in non-EU countries and the EU countries Bulgaria and Cyprus. In certain countries weight limits may vary according to the regulations of the destination country.

We recommend using packaging materials. If you reuse a box, check that it is in good condition and remove any labels or codes from previous shipments.
The box must have a free spacebig enough to apply the Waybill. On the same side, directly on the parcel, there must be indication of the sender and addressee, in case the Waybill becomes detached from the parcel.

Customs declarations for shipment of parcels containing small quantities of goods to be sent to non-EU zones must be accompanied by forms CN22 or CN23 according to the declared value.

Insurance
You can request the insurance service to cover transport-related risks, from acceptance to delivery, up to a maximum insurable value of € 3,500.00.

To find out when it is possible to claim compensation or a reimbursement, please consult the Postal Services Charter .
You can send your parcel online using the  Poste Delivery Web service. To do so, you need to register on poste.it . At the end of the purchase process, you can download the Waybill in pdf format and, for non-EU countries, the customs documentation in editable format to be attached to the shipment, along with all the information required to fill out the accompanying documentation. You will receive a notification on your myPoste dashboard containing a summary of your purchase.
 
Please note that the Waybill and any customs documentation must be printed, signed and handed over to the courier picking up the shipment or, in the case of drop-off at the post office, to the designated operator.

The detailed transit times are indicated during entry of shipment details and depend on the destination selected by the customer.
 
To send a shipment, you can request home pick-up free of charge or take it to a post office or PuntoPoste Collection Points offering the service. Check whether your post office offers this shipment service. In the case of home pick-up, the courier will visit your home during the time slot indicated. Select an address where somebody is always present. Delivery times start from pick-up from the sender’s home.
 
Once payment has been made, you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract, using the Withdrawal Form.

The Search Shipments service informs you of the status of shipments from when they are handed over to Poste Italiane until arrival at their destination, along with the time of delivery. Using the Search Shipments service, you can also request SMS or email updates. This service is free of charge. You can also check the shipment status by calling from Monday to Saturday - excluding Sundays and public holidays - from 8:00 to 20:00, the following numbers:
 - 803.160, free number reachable from a fixed line
 - 06.4526.3160, number reachable from fixed and mobile networks according to the costs of the telephone operator from which the call is made. For more details, please consult the General Terms and Conditions.
If you send Poste Delivery Globe shipments online you can pay by:
  • credit card (VISA and Mastercard), every day between 00:15 and 23:45
  • Postepay card, every day between 00:15 and 23:45
  • charge to Conto BancoPosta account, every day between 6:00 and 22:30
You can find the shipment receipt on your Dashboard at poste.it.
Prices are provided automatically during the purchase phase, based on the destination, weight and dimensions entered by the customer in the specific section.

You can access updates for shipment:

  • with the Search Shipments function, entering the code on your receipt under the barcode. The code must be entered without spaces or hyphens (e.g. 050000201242)
  • by calling calling from Monday to Saturday - excluding Sundays and public holidays - from 8:00 to 20:00, the following numbers:
     - 803.160, free number reachable from a fixed line
     - 06.4526.3160, number reachable from fixed and mobile networks according to the costs of the telephone operator from which the call is made
  • on your mobile with Poste Italiane App , using the Search Shipments function

Please note that the service to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (postal codes from 95000 to 98999) and for the city of Sevastopol (postal codes from 99000 to 99999) is suspended due to force majeure.
